Two of my friends and I stayed at Skylight House this past weekend and we absolutely loved it.

The location is great, only a few minutes to Unawatuna by a tuktuk, and a lovely walk if you're feeling adventurous as well.

Satish, the house manager, was very responsive to our messages and helped us out with local amenities and being a general guide. I would recommend his services if you want help with a safari, or bars and restaurants to choose from.

One minor issue we did encounter was the water pressure in the bathrooms not working at times. However Satish was quick to respond and we did not find this to be a hindrance.

Very friendly people around and if you like to cook order fresh seafood from the landlord and buy your fresh groceries nearby.

The hospitality was also excellent. Karin the host met us when we arrived and Sathish the manager was incredibly communicative and helped us with anything we needed during our stay. We only wish we had been able to stay longer - we definitely recommend staying here!

Karin is the perfect host, always... read more available, kind, respectful and helpful! She has amazing staff around, who come in daily to take care of the garden and the pool making sure that everything is spotless. They are very respectful of us and of our privacy, hardworking and polite.

The house itself is a dream, perfectly furnished, there is everything you need. Spacious and with tons of natural light. We are both yoga practitioners and we live very mindfully, so I can tell you that the energy in this place is surreal. It's calming and soothing. Karin did a great job!

Totally recommended to anyone who wants some peace and quiet.
