Skylight House is a delightfully- designed private sanctuary offering comfort and space for friends and family getaways and celebrations of life’s milestones

Located within minutes of beaches, cozy restaurants, shops and UNESCO Heritage Site Galle Fort, the villa is an airy oasis for your exclusive enjoyment. Three air conditioned bedrooms with en suite ‘sunbeam’ bathrooms offer accommodation for six – eight guests. Two of the bedrooms come with king-sized beds and a generous sofa bed, while the cozy and playful Loft Room is designed for kids of any age.

The three unique gathering spaces of Skylight House are made for exclusive experiences – either those you create yourself or ones we can assist you to curate.

The Main Hall

Upon entering Skylight House, you will find an open area with cathedral ceiling, plenty of sunlight streaming through the many skylights, a chef’s kitchen, bar counter and dining area – all available for you to imagine your perfect celebratory experience – whether it be a meal you cook yourself or masterfully created by a local chef, a cooking class, a cultural experience such as musical performance or local art demonstration. These can be arranged under our Skylight Salon Series.

The Peacocks Lounge

Our signature stairway to The Peacocks Lounge leads to a space where you can have breakfast to birdsong and monkeys frolicking in the avocado tree or watch the news and a sports game. Enjoy sundowner cocktail time savoring cooling cross-breezes while looking out over verdant rice paddy fields to the sounds of peacocks cawing on the roof. We have an exclusive soundtrack for this space curated by a leading writer and jazz expert.

The Pool Garden Oasis

The newly designed pool area invites relaxation, intimate outdoor dining and a place to celebrate those special occasions with a small group of friends and family. The oversized day sofas, ample pool and curated garden provide an exclusive sensory oasis.
